2016 World Thinking Day


Please join us for a Girl Scout
World Thinking Day Event
Sunday February 21st

Founder's Hall

  • Set up is between 1:00 and 2:00
  • Check-in starts at 1:00 at Founder's Hall (see map below)
  • Kick off is at 2:00
  • Event will end at 4:00
Girls will earn their World Thinking Day patches by participating in our activities, including:
  • Former Peace Corps volunteers and current foreign exchange students
  • Video Lounge
  • World Map & Words of Women
  • Connection Zone
  • Meet-a-friend Bingo
  • Mariachi band performance
  • Dragon dance (pending)
Troops can sign up to represent a country by filling out the form below. Daisies are encouraged to host a country but not required. Girls older than daisy level can host a booth or sign up as a helper below. Daisies are welcome to attend as "World Travelers."

How do you represent a country?
• Create an informative display about your country (tables will be provided)
• Make 100-150 SWAPs to hand out or have them available for girls to make themselves
• Have a small craft, song or game about your country for girls to do
• Have a stamp or sticker for girls to mark their passports 
Have a small snack or other item that represents your country's cuisine
